International Partnerships

Under the International Partnership Program, Shift works with international organizations, industry and multi-stakeholder groups on specific projects that support implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and related standards.

Current projects include the development of guidance to particular business sectors or on specific human rights issues and to organizations seeking to advance their own policies and practices with regard to business and human rights.

Shift also supports innovative multi-stakeholder collaborations designed to address particular human rights challenges for business in line with the UN Guiding Principles.

Advising the Fair Labor Association on Alignment with the UN Guiding Principles

Business Learning

Advising and supporting companies, across different industries and regions, on implementation of the UN Guiding Principles.

Government Engagement

Working with individual governments on the implications of the UN Guiding Principles for their approach to business and human rights.

International Partnerships

Working in partnership with key international organisations, industry or multi-stakeholder groups, to implement the UN Guiding Principles.

Education and Outreach

Contributing to public awareness and education about business and human rights through workshops, training and other educational activities.
